EXTRA 10% OFF ON FIRST ORDER
Some babies vomit milk every now and then. Few believe it is their digestion issue but actually it is due to excessive intake. Some babies’ intake of feed is more than what their body actually need and as a result they vomit out the extra milk. It could be in the form of liquid milk or thin yogurt like form. Both are absolutely okay and normal. Such babies are rather observed to be healthier as compare to those who don’t vomit. The mess is just changing clothes and cleaning after every vomit.
However if the vomiting is because of food intake then you need to evaluate. It could be a reaction to a particular food but if it continues then consult doctor and also keep your baby hydrated by giving her electrolytes (Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS), Pedialyte). Move your baby on side so the vomit doesn’t go back in the lungs or upper respiratory system. You can prepare ORS solution using boiled or otherwise clean drinkable water like filtered or mineral water. This sometimes could be minor reaction and can settle itself. Stop solids and give her more liquids preferably electrolytes like ORS or pedialyte. But if this gets serious where you observe your baby being pale, lazy or recessive, don’t wait and immediately consult doctor.
